3-year practitioner training

Shiatsu is a Japanese massage based on the same principles as acupuncture. The training involves studying:

• Western anatomy, physiology and pathology
• Traditional Chinese medicine theory and pathology
• how to work the 12 meridians in different positions: sitting, supine, prone and side.
• location and function of acupuncture points
• how to use your body weight to perform non-invasive pressure
• Qi gong
